I like the score and it's swashbuckling orchestral feel, even though it does feel like a *bit* of a departure from the earlier scores in the series. The Pirate Fairy (fifth): this one has never been released on CD, but did get a digital score release, albeit an incomplete one. Incredible in its wintry feel, and featuring a lot of great new material in addition to the familiar themes. which is a huge shame because it's the only one that competes with Lost Treasure to be my favorite of the entire lot. Secret of the Wings (fourth): of all the remaining Tinker Bell scores, this is the *only* one which is 100% unreleased, even digitally. I guess it could be considered Tinker Bell 3.5, and I for one hope its score is released too.

Pixie Hollow Games (short film released on TV): this is the one I'm unfamiliar with, but I've heard that Joel McNeely did compose and record an original score for this 30 minute TV special which came out between the third and fourth films.

This is the final score in the series which Intrada has released on CD: There is some good new material, but I admit I play this a bit less (though I've heard others rave about it). Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue (third): this score, while still very solid, has fewer 'wow' moments for me than the first two scores. Intrada has thankfully (since it didn't even get a score suite on the original commercial soundtrack album) also released this complete: Incredible five-star effort, even better than the original score which was already a five-star effort IMO. The new material includes an absolutely BREATHTAKING new journey/adventure theme which is one of my favorite themes of the decade. Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure (second in the series): even BETTER score, probably my favorite of the franchise (I would have to listen to Secret of the Wings again to be sure, as it is also amazing.alas that score is totally unreleased). A 7 minute score suite was all we had for years, until Intrada put out a perfect release of the complete score (including some lovely if brief songs): Tinker Bell (first film): *amazing* score, particularly the first 20 minutes which establish the main themes of the series. I seem to have a copy of it, but can't find it for sale. The Never Beast and Secret of the Wings appears to be available but I think digital only (7 Digital have it in lossless.). So, how come those two scores haven't been released and how do they compare with the three CD's that have been released by Intrada? I remembered Intrada had released some Tink scores in the past, but when I checked on the titles of the films they were watching (Never Beast and Secret of the Wings) it turned out those scores had never been released!! Great, gushy fantasy/adventure/choir music. I was sure Yavar had done a thread about these scores before, but could I find it? Could I shite.ДЄnyway, the G-kids had the films on the other day and the music I heard was GLORIOUS!!!
